What does Nuvia do in the field of Engineering Design?

A great deal!

We design (and build) a wide variety of plant and equipment associated with the nuclear industry. Currently, most of our design is targeted at plant and equipment linked to decommissioning activities. With the rapid progress being made on "new build - the next generation of nuclear reactors" then we could soon be designing facilities and equipment associated with these power plants.

"Design" of course is more than just lines on a piece of paper! Typically, it starts with front-end optioneering and best practice studies; this is where you can make a difference in the brainstorming sessions tabling your own ideas for consideration and then development.

Later stages involve the schematic adaptation of existing designs or the completion of new designs to satisfy an agreed process solution, often leading to the detail design and build of components, machines, assemblies and whole structures.
